Linda Nosková won the 2026 Wimbledon women's singles title, beating fellow Czech Karolína Muchová 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 in the final. Nosková was the ninth seed and Muchová the tenth seed, so both women in the final came from the Czech Republic.
The Czech Republic has a strong recent record in women's tennis: Petra Kvitová won Wimbledon in 2011 and 2014, Barbora Krejčíková won it in 2024 and Markéta Vondroušová won it in 2023. Nosková and Muchová then won the two singles matches in the Czech Republic's Billie Jean King Cup final in September.
