Mirra Andreeva wins Roland Garros at 19
Andreeva beat qualifier Maja Chwalińska in straight sets for her first Grand Slam title.
Mirra Andreeva, 19, won the 2026 French Open women's singles title, beating Poland's Maja Chwalińska in straight sets in the final. It is the first Grand Slam title of her career.
She is the youngest Roland Garros women's champion since Iga Świątek won as a teenager in 2020, and the fourth Russian woman to win the title, after Anastasia Myskina (2004), Svetlana Kuznetsova (2009) and Maria Sharapova (2012 and 2014).
A qualifier in the final
Chwalińska, who came through qualifying, is only the second qualifier in the Open Era to reach a Grand Slam singles final, after Emma Raducanu at the 2021 US Open. Several accounts give a slightly different score for the final, so this site lists the result without one.
